EDDM allows a wide range of mail such as postcards, fliers, coupons, menu, and calendars among others. Irregular parcels up to 16 ounces, bounded printed matter, and periodicals are also allowed, pending other criteria.

Small businesses are allowed to send as much as 5,000 mail pieces per day for every ZIP code through EDDM-Retail. This will cost 17.5 cents each with no postage permit required. If you need to send more, you’ll need a mail provider and send mail pieces at 15.6 cents each and use a mail permit for the postal facility.
